Efficient monitoring

The MTC had challenges concerning the delivery of a high-level secure site and how to manage the large number of security measures involved with delivering such a secure site. The company’s brief to Panasonic was to deliver smart technology that would help produce a secure site and enable swift action and manage of any incidents that may occur across the facility. Panasonic implemented a smart analytics program, which integrates a number of technologies and provides a secure and auditable site. The systems help automatically identify incidents and allow the security team to efficiently process each alert with full traceability. As a result, all the events and alarms from the various sources can be managed in one central place and, crucially, priority of the alarms is determined by the system. So when we have a high level intruder, it is escalated by the system to the top of a queue, and will demand action to be quickly and efficiently managed by the operators. In addition to these security systems, a Video Management System and a Physical Intruder Detection system along with access control and intruder systems that are managed in an 18 screen control room delivered by Panasonic, which is integrated and controlled by the single monitoring and control platform.
