Panasonic Europe and ADComms are extremely proud to have been awarded the contract by Transport for London to deliver the new One Person Operation CCTV systems as part of the Deep Tube Upgrade Programme for the introduction of new rolling stock. The project initially includes the design of the station and train borne systems including the installation and maintenance on the entire Piccadilly Line route. The new Digital IP CCTV system is a first for TfL with regards to the One Person Operation CCTV system, which will enable the IP video images to be transmitted from the strategically placed CCTV cameras along the platform edge, to the new trains and displayed on the in cab monitors.

Paul Bonnet (Business Development Director) commented “this is an incredibly exciting project for Panasonic and ADComms and after almost 4 years of tender process, to be selected as the chosen partner to deliver such a prestigious project, is testament to the hard work of the entire team”

Carl Pocknell (Managing Director) commented  “This is a fantastic achievement for the business and another illustration of the success we can achieve in the  UK Rail Sector.  It  is an excellent demonstration of our ability, expertise and application of our skills  to develop solutions and capability to deploy technology within the  UK Rail environment.”
